Our mission is to uplift and empower marginalized children, girls, and young women by creating a robust support system that fosters their personal and community development.
At the Extra Mile Development Foundation, we believe that every child, girl, and young woman deserves the opportunity to thrive, to be heard, and to embark on a path of self-discovery and empowerment.

As a registered non-profit organization led by young women, we are passionately dedicated to transforming the lives of marginalized communities in Malawi and beyond.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

    • To reduce barriers to access quality education in schools and improve learning outcomes among students.

    • To improve access to water, sanitation and hygiene services in schools, health facilities and communities in need.

    • To enhance agricultural skills and improve livelihoods among youth and women through sustainable farming practices and entrepreneurship.

    • To increase access to information and services on Sexual Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR), HIV/AIDS, Mental health and Gender Based Violence (GBV) among youth and women.

    • To enhance youth and women participation in decision making processes for good governance and democracy at community and national level.
